Thread: New Bin

  1. #1

    New Bin

The new bin seems to do the same thing that the old bin did. The first two key numbers role when auto role is on. But, when we do have a role in keys, they all change except the first two. So, I still have to look up the keys. That is easy. What is the difference and will we see another bin to try?
    Thanks

    Re: New Bin

Everything went down yesterday and you will need a new bin file. We will post it as soon as we have it.
Enter keys manually and turn off autoroll until then.

    Re: New Bin

I have a Dec. 2004 Fortec Lifetime Ultra. I am using the 2.94aT bin. Is it worth going from the 2500 to the 2700? If so, do I need to Jtag or can I just flash threw rs232 cable?

    Re: New Bin

You would need a special file coded to change the ultra to the 2700 every time you need to program it. You would also have to jtag it every time as well.
The only advantage I see to this is if the ultra is not getting any more fixes and the 2700 still is and its the only way to keep it running.

I think that I will stay with the 2500. Only one of my FTUs is set up for Jtaging. Thank you for your advice.
