Local Chanels Dish.

Ok. i Live In Mexico When i wase in LA a Few weeks ago to see my Mom,I subed to dish at a friends house, and gave him a box and brought one down here for me.
Hade a teck hear set every thing up, no real problem!
But i went to wach the Lakers game and i hade no local chanels!!!
Is ther any thing i can do to pull them in???
I did watch the game on my FTA Box. Lucky. Me.
Any Help would be appreceated.

First of all local channel's you will not get if your in mexico, you can scan other channels but most are going to disapeared do to nagra 3...also what kinda of box do you have.....?????????????
