Welcome to the Grand Theft Auto 5 Knife Flights video.
Each Knife Flight location is clearly numbered and the locations displayed before each to help you find them more easily. I will be providing a map showing all locations, the link will be below.
There are 15 Knife Flights in total and you only need 8 of the 15 to achieve 100% game completion. However it's fun to get them all. Complete 8 Knife Flights and 25 Under the Bridge challenges and you will unlock the Achievement Close Shave.
Here are some tips to help you:
- You can get a fighter jet (a P996 LAZER) from Fort Zancudo. It is easier to complete all 15 Knife Flights with it. Alternatively, you can get a Mallard stunt airplane, they can be found occasionally landing at the Sandy Shores Airfield; you will have to wait for one.
- Set yourself up to perform the stunt attempt and save the game; if you die you can restart ready to try again.
- If your plane gets damaged, save your game and immediately reload the game. The game will load with your plane fully repaired.
- Try to do the stunt during the day as visibility will be limited at night making it hard to perform the knifes.
- Use Trevor to perform the stunts. Michael and Franklin's flying skills will be limited, unless you did the flight school training at Los Santos Airport.
- The flight school will teach you how to perform Knife Flights, so it is recommended to do the flight school first. - Make sure your landing gear is in. The plane will fly more smoothly with the landing gear retracted. You can do this when you're flying, just press down on the left analog stick.
