RAID 0 (Zero) and how many hard disk drive for best performance?

I am setting up a computer strictly for performance, do not care for redundancy, I currently have two Samsung 500 gig HDD setup for RAID 0. I am wonderning if I increase the amount of HDD to 4 or 6; will I see an increase in speed. Has anyone setup one similar to this? What was your results?Many thanks!

Adding more hard drives to your Raid 0 will increase performance. Also adding more controllers will also increase perfromance. The problem is that if one drive fails, your out of luck, its possible that all your data will be lost. (I would recommend Raid 5 if your going with more than 2 hard drives)
