Who can help me with my sound card issue?

Awhile ago my on board sound card was having some issues, so my uncle put another sound card in. I recently installed windows 7 and the sound card is not detected nor does it have the drivers. I don't know what type of sound card it is and my uncle can't remember which kind he put in. Is there a program or something that could scan my computer and figure out what it is?Thanks in advanced.

try opening the system and pull it out look on it for the p/n then write it down just hope its not a piece of shit chinese sound card or you will have fun looking for driverthe most common ones are realtek.and creative
