I have a dell vostro. That I bought fairly cheap.
I know it had issues. After replacing the HardDrive I installed Windows 7 on it.
I was installing all drivers without a problem.
After 3 hours I finally installed the Nvidia graphics driver and after I installed it.
The laptop begins to freeze every time it boots up into desktop maybe 1 or 2 minutes after it loads to desktop. And when it freezes the fan begins to speed very fast
I searched online and many people say it's caused by overheating.
Well I opened up the laptop to clean the fan and it was fairly clean.
After doing all that the laptop sat for about 4hours
I plugged it in and it froze right after I got to desktop.
I mean I cannot overheat that fast.
So now I have installed the Nvidia graphics drivers and it does not freeze at all
Anyone have any ideas?
