How big of a difference is 16.2 million vs 16.7 million colors for an LCD monitor?

I am planning to get an LCD monitor to replace a CRT monitor. Just wondering how much of a difference is there if I go with a 16.7 million color monitor over a 16.2 million color monitor? Would it be worth the extra money to go with the 16.7 million color monitor?

When each pixel is represented by 24 bits then that is 16.7 million colours (near enough).Don't know where 16.2 came from. Could be a misprint.
