pvr ejection?

every time i take out the usb portable hard drive i use for pvr the system locks up....I have to reset power to the unit in order for it to work again...is there a way to take out the usb drive without the lock up?

i chkd my pvr out put usb in go to show rec your show stop pvr screen will go black but will come back in change the ch does the show record on your usb

it records but sometimes i use the drive for other reasons on other computers....when i pull the drive out, the box locks up....

buy fresh usb stick keep it only for your sat box just got 1 at source 4gb 10 bucks

Hey waldo69, does the 4gb stick do well for pvr recording (enough space)?

Shut the box down with rear switch before you pull out the HD.
