You guys helped me set up two wireless routers to get full WIFI access everywhere in my house; I hope you can help on this issue!I just installed a Gateway desktop running windows 7 to my network. It’s wired to my wireless router which in turn is wired to a second router in the basement, the 2nd router is wired to first LAN to LAN as a bridge (I think that’s the correct term). Anyway the set up works fine, any of my 5 laptops and my Wii can access the internet though either router with no problems, the Xbox is wired to the second router, it accesses the internet fine. The network looks like this:Times Warner --- modem---- (WAN) main router (LAN 1 --- desk top, LAN2 --- 2nd router) on the second router the XBox is wired to LAN3Now comes the issue; I want to connect the XBox to the desktop via the Windows Media Center and when I try it by the directions it won’t work, It looks like the desktop “sees” the XBox but when I try to configure it, it won’t connect. I've done the trouble shooter thing, I disabled all firewalls etc. still no connection. I’m thinking the XBox, being on the second router is the issue. How do I get the Desktop to connect to the XBox?I’ve not had any luck networking any of the laptops together which I think is because they run Windows XP and Vista, which don’t seem compatible to windows 7 (isn’t MS sweet!). But I'l tackle that another time!At this point I would be happy to just have the XBox connected to the desktop!Any suggestions?
