Two arrested after Wendy's food fight

KALAMAZOO, Mich., (UPI) -- Michigan police said two people were arrested after a fight that started as an argument about the accuracy of a Wendy's order and devolved into throwing food.

Kalamazoo police said investigators arrived at the Wendy's at about 12:17 a.m. on a report about a loud disturbance and found food items scattered on the ground near the drive-through, the Kalamazoo Gazette reported Monday.

Witnesses told police the incident began when four customers in a vehicle began arguing with an employee through the drive-through window about the accuracy of their order. The witnesses said the argument became heated and the occupants of the car began throwing the food at the employee, who in turn threw the items back at the car.

Police said two of the customers then came into the store and began physically fighting with workers.

Two of the customers, identified as Kalamazoo residents, were arrested and charged with assault and excessive noise.
