How do I get my text on photoshop to go to the next line?

I'm having trouble with my type tool. When I type something and I want to go to the next line below, I press enter but the text doesn't go down, instead it disappears. I've tried to figure it out but nothing seems to fix it. I've tried making the box thing bigger to find it but there's nothing. Please Helpp!! I really need to use photoshop for a project and the type tool is being a pain.

you could try and make sure the leading setting in the text propertiesare correct, start typing the first line, go to the text properties box and make sure the 'set the leading' setting is on at least 31.

When I want to create two line texts in Photoshop I create second layer for a second line. At the end of typing I rearrange them where I want to text to be shown. I think your text did not disappeared it is probably below some other layer. Tray to find it on a layer palette on your right side, and move it on the top of layers.
