Are you talking about resetting it after you refilled your own cartridges, or just after you installed new ones? If you refilled your cartridges yourself, you may have to reset the printer to get it to recognize that the cartridges are no longer empty. This is just a matter of unplugging the printer for a few minutes to let it completely reset, and when it comes back on it should recognize the correct ink levels. If you are just "refilling" as in installing new cartridges, then you shouldn't have to do anything, unless as someone said, your printer is really old.
