40 Garlic Chicken Wings


2 1/2 lbs chicken wings trimmed & separated
1/2 C olive oil
40 large garlic cloves peeled--You read correct----40 Large Cloves of Garlic
1/4 tsp salt
1/4 tsp fresh ground blk pepper
1/4 tsp rosemary
1/4 tsp thyme
1/4 tsp oregano
1 TBSP pernod

Toss all ingredients in a large bowl and let marinate for 1 hour tossing occasionally.

-preheat oven to 425

-Place wings & ingredients into a large casserole dish or large Lasagna Pan & toss to distribute.

Try and keep in a single layer

Bake uncovered for 1 hour or until garlic cloves are brown and tender


transfer wings to a platter and serve with crusty bread to dip in
garlicky oil.

the garlic cloves and oil can be mashed,and spread on french bread, add a little Parmesan cheese and grill litely.

Pernod is the secret to this recipe-----Do NOT substitute any other Liquor for the Pernod.

Best make 2 batches----Once the guests taste these they go real fast.
