    Re: what is your opinion?

Even this thread is over a year old I did read it over and over again withh posts and trying to picture the whole thing in my mind to understand what was the event that took place for this thread.

In a way I do agree with mods that took the necessary actions and considration first and above all to this site but in a way I see and this is my own opnion some actions were over stated such as the requierd 25 posts for new members before they can download files or they can make donation and become VIP without the need to have those first 25 posts.

I understand the 25 posts was and still a security countermeasures to prevent spammers/scammers or such events like this thread was all about, I see we can lower the required amount of posts to 8 or even 10, I wish it can be just 5 and the reason is to make this site more active and more traffic will benefit this site to get more funds from Google AD's.

For sure this is up to the owner/owners of this site to make this changes and I hope to see this site the busiest site of its kind

    Re: what is your opinion?

Members DO NOT need 25 posts to download files, new sign ups can download once they confirm their emails. The 25 posts restriction is ONLY in place to prevent SPAM, once 25 post are reached new members can post links as they are trusted members at this point.

This site is 100% free to any members who sign up.

If you think lowering this SPAM prevention technique will help, we can try it. But its at 25 because new members from China and India were signing up, making 10 short, useless posts unrelated to the threads to get past the SPAM restriction and then posting links to penile implants, Viagra or web sites selling something. So it was raised to 25 to make it harder and deter them, and not to stop people from accessing the files.

    Re: what is your opinion?

Thank you for clearing this up since this thread was never up dated to reflect no need for 25 posts for new members to download files.

And I agree 100% with your post, no need to lower the spam prevention technique or change it, looks so far it did prevent spammers big time. Also now I know what the spammers doing... thanks to your posting, I have learned something new.
