The reason why the other sites go to VIP status to view / post is their sever becomes overloaded and they need a way to limit the users on the site all at once.
At peak times we get 80 to 100 users on the site, 40 to 50 guest and 40 to 50 members.
Other FTA sites get 1000's of people all at once and the sites are not viewable or slow to a crawl. So it's understandable why they do the VIP thing.

yee, glad u signed up!! enjoy PbP...Finally an FTA sight that's current and upto date that hasn't gone Private or requieres VIP status to view / post. Pleasure to be here.
