Goldberg, Behar clash with O'Reilly

NEW YORK, Oct. 14 (UPI) -- "The View" co-hosts Whoopi Goldberg and Joy Behar stormed off the U.S. chat show set Thursday after clashing with conservative gues Bill O'Reilly.
UsMagazine.com said the pair walked out of the interview after O'Reilly, a television personality and author, said Muslims were to blame for the Sept. 11, 2001 terrorist attacks on the United States. Goldberg and Behar tried to clarify that the terrorists were Muslim extremists, not average followers of the religion.
O'Reilly has a new book.
"This should not have happened," "View" co-host and producer Barbara Walters said after they left the stage, noting adults should be able to express different opinions without anyone throwing in the towel.
Goldberg and Behar later returned to the show, UsMagazine.com said.
