Well , the first thing is to try a different driver version... download it from Nvidia's website.Also check the card's temperature, maybe the GPU coooling heatsink/fan isn't seated securely causing the card to overheat quickly... Those can usually be re-seated or replaced.Could also be that the card's VRAM is going bad, although you might see evidence of that like colorful pixel blocks or artifacts, even in the BIOS screens before windows starts.
