But today life is grand even though -- or maybe because -- nothing is really getting done. You aren't putting the finishing touches on a work project or that German chocolate cake you finally decided to bake. You aren't wrapping up construction on your new back porch. You haven't closed that deal, whatever it was. Instead, you're lazing around with a tall cool lemonade and just enjoying the dog days of summer, a season when, by rights, nothing much gets accomplished. On the 1st, nothing could suit you better! Then on the 5th, get ready to have a great day. By the 10th and 11th, you'll be all about calculations. Whether you are working out the sale price on that 10 percent off of 20 percent off of half off T-shirt, or adding up more important figures, you'll be your own personal abacus. On the 14th, don't preach. By the 19th, you'll be seeing things from a whole new perspective. On the 23rd, be sure to communicate, no matter what, and on the 26th, don't overeat. And on the 30th, don't let somebody moody spoil your good day. The sun is shining -- celebrate!
