I going with Windows 7, I tried Windows 8 and it just didn't feel right, 7 has it problems too. I voted for 7 becasue of its support for better hardware, ie more then 4gb of ram.

Windows 7 is just faster then the older windows, 8 is too cloudy, Linux is good, lots of options, so I vote Linux. But windows 7 is next!

Linux, its is versatile easy to used and have NO limitations! All them windows updates and not for your own good, they actually sometimes remove functionality.

Windows 7 is my vote too, I put it first due to its performance, but not price! Linus has my vote on price, as it is free!

There is no "BEST OS"! They all have their strengths and weaknesses and just like a tool in your tool box, you use the one that is right for the job. Use the OS that fits your needs.

I disagree, money isn't always there to perchance 2 OS or more. Dual booting Windows and Linux, is the best choice.

I'm going with Windows XP, most of the bugs are worked out, lots of online help, less bulk.
