Sometimes stuck on Booting sometimes front panel screen is blank. Tried unplugging everything then holding power button while switching on and nothing. Any suggestions If factory file needs to be loaded again via RS232 Cable how do you do this?
Is some kind of loader program needed?

Pull your cover and check your diodes. Sounds like you have a bad one. Radio Shacx sells them for a dollar.

I've seen many complaints of this & similar problems with SV8000HDs. Some have found that the cause to be the power supplies, specifically the poor quality capacitors used. The problem with low quality caps is that they dry out quickly & 'short' internally causing voltages to change. These 'leaky' caps do affect everything in the stb.
You could go to RatShack with a handful of caps, or you could buy a kit like this on fleabay, item #260662306814.
If you don't have electronics t/s & soldering skills then find a friend that does.

Here's a link to power supply issues:

Hope this helps.
