360 p help

I have a brand new 360p with svlink. I had a friend install the latest files into it and had it up and going at his place. I then brought it home and couldn't get it up and running. we both have the same turbo hd dish . I have downloaded wiz and it has the 4.8 version local ip adress and subnet and gateway and board list all filled in. I flip to 101 and it comes in but everything else is scrambled . i have 99 s 99q. thanks for your time .

if my alignment or coax was bad would i get 101 still?
