I have 2 Sonicview 8000 hd's and both are having a problem...one of them i have been using just fine since i moved 8 months ago and it just suddenly lost signal to all birds..it will not get signal on any tps except 2..12486 & 12501 and all it does on those is jump from 0 to 30's and back to 0 on Q..could there be a problem with the lnb port or a fuse or power supply issue???..the other receiver when i hook it up in same room gets decent signal right away so i know it isnt a cable or lnb issue which i already tried anyway...the other receivers problem is that i cant get the network settings to pop up in menu and there are no lights coming on back of hub...this is using the same hub as the other previously working box and hub still connects and shows network in menu of other box..have tried 2 diff hubs and neither work in this box...could this be an rs232 port problem or fuse or power supply???...i have tried everything i could think of with these 2 and cant get either to work...btw i have no soldering experience so thats out..im going crazy here plz help??!!?!
