How to force load ss dcr-5500 via loader

This method can be used to revive your box if you loaded the wrong file or your box is locked up and won't respond or if your thumb drive is broken or missing

1) Turn the unit off

2) Attach a null modem cable to both the box and your computer
.
3) Use this attached loader,PCLoader4M.exe,download and unzip,left click twice on the shortcut
.
then hit run,when the window opens, selecting the COM PORT(in the drop down box) you have
.
your cable attached to and then selecting,DOWNLOAD and then selecting the
.
UNZIPPED current Cyclops "M" series bin

NOTE:There is also a "Speed" Drop Down Box to the right.Most Com Ports on a computer are default to 9600.So,you either have to change the loader speed to match your comport or go to Device Manager(Windows OS) and change the com port speed to match the Loader

4) You should then see the Bin in the loader and a message on your loader that states>

5) "Turn on your STB from the back"
.
6) Wait for everything to complete (you should see a progress bar on the screen) - when complete you should be back to normal.

NOTE:If you are a Beta tester,using a Beta Box,use the E series files
