ATLANTA, (UPI) -- Vince Carter scored 22 points Monday to lead the Orlando Magic to a 98-84 win over Atlanta and a four-game sweep of their Eastern Conference semifinal series.
Orlando was deadly from outside, sinking 16 three-pointers en route to their second straight post-season sweep and 14th straight win stretching back to the regular season.
The Magic also swept Charlotte in the first round and now await the winner of the Boston-Cleveland series, which is tied at two games apiece.
Rashard Lewis (17 points) and Mickael Pietrus (12 points) each connected on four 3-pointers for Orlando. Jameer Nelson contributed 16 points and Dwight Howard finished with 13 points, eight rebounds and four blocks in the win.
With the loss, the Hawks fell to 0-14 all-time in conference semifinal series. Jamal Crawford led Atlanta 18 points in defeat.
