CHICAGO, (UPI) -- Carlos Silva remained undefeated Tuesday with a solid six-plus innings in leading the Chicago Cubs past the Colorado Rockies 6-2.

Silva (5-0) limited Colorado to two runs on six hits and struck out four in his eighth start of the season. He threw 85 pitches, 58 of which were strikes.

Ryan Theriot and rookie Starlin Castro had two RBI apiece in the Cubs' third consecutive win. Tyler Colvin and Kosuke Fukudome accounted for the other Cubs' runs.

Todd Helton hit his first home run of the season for the Rockies, who saw their three-game winning streak come to an end. Jhoulys Chacin (2-2) gave up three runs on five hits and walked five in 5 2/3 innings.

Chicago opened the scoring with three runs in the third and added three more in the eighth after Helton's seventh inning homer.
