Broken nose won't shelve Suns' Nash
PHOENIX, (UPI) -- The Phoenix Suns point guard Steve Nash has a broken nose but won't miss any playing time in the NBA Western Conference Finals, the team said Monday.
Nash sustained what the Suns called a minimally displaced nasal fracture with displaced cartilage in the fourth quarter of the team's 118-109 win over the Los Angeles Lakers in Game 3 Sunday.
Team officials said Nash was to undergo a minor procedure Monday and will return for Tuesday's Game 4 in Phoenix.
The Lakers lead the best-of-seven series 2-1.
