LOS ANGELES, (UPI) -- Ray Allen sank eight 3-point shots Sunday to set an NBA Finals record and help the Boston Celtics top the Los Angeles Lakers 103-94 in Game 2 of the NBA Finals.

Allen, who connected on seven consecutive 3-point shots in the first half, finished with 32 points for Boston, which each the series 1-1.

Rajon Rondo had 19 points, 12 rebounds and 10 assists for his fifth career playoff triple double. He scored six points during a 11-0 run in the fourth-quarter that gave the Celtics a lead they would not relinquish.

Pau Gasol led the Lakers with 25 points, eight rebounds and six blocked shots. Kobe Bryant and Andrew Bynum scored 21 apiece for LA.

Game 3 is scheduled for Tuesday in Boston.
