MLB: New York Mets 6, Cleveland 4
CLEVELAND, (UPI) -- R.A. Dickey struck out seven over six innings Thursday and won his fifth straight decision, leading the New York Mets past Cleveland 6-4.

New York captured its seventh straight and remained a half game behind division-leading Atlanta in the National League East.

Dickey (5-0) gave up three runs on seven hits while walking two. He left with a 5-3 lead and Francisco Rodriguez struck out the side in the ninth for his 15th save.

Jose Reyes went 3-for-5, scored twice and drove in a run. Ike Davis had an RBI single during New York's three-run first and singled in another score in the fourth.

The last six New York victories have come to start a nine-game road trip that ends with a series against the New York Yankees.

Jake Westbrook (4-4) allowed five runs on 11 hits in seven innings to take the loss. The Indians have dropped four in a row.
