PITTSBURGH

(UPI) -- Lastings Milledge went 3-for-4 with four runs batted in Saturday and Pittsburgh snapped a 12-game losing streak with a 6-4 inter-league win over Cleveland.

Milledge socked a two-run triple in the third inning to put the Pirates ahead for good and added a run-scoring double two innings later, giving Pittsburgh its first victory since June 5.

Garrett Jones and Pedro Alvarez notched the other RBI for the Pirates.

Jeff Karstens (2-2) collected the victory despite allowing four runs on six hits over 5 1/3 innings. Octavio Dotel picked up his 13th save with a scoreless ninth.

Cleveland's David Huff (2-9) was saddled with the loss. He had trouble finding the plate, walking six while allowing five runs on six hits over five frames.

Russell Branyan clouted a three-run homer in the Indians' loss, their fifth in six games.
