O's deal minor leaguer, cash for Fox

BALTIMORE -- The Baltimore Orioles have acquired infielder-outfielder Jake Fox from the Oakland Athletics for a minor league pitcher and cash.
Fox hit .214 with two home runs and 12 RBIs in 39 games for the A's this season.
The Orioles sent righty Ross Wolf to Oakland. He was 0-2 with a 2.11 ERA at Triple-A Norfolk.
To make room on the roster, Baltimore optioned right-hander Chris Tillman to Norfolk and designated righty Cla Meredith for assignment. Tillman was 0-3 with an 8.40 ERA in four starts. Meredith was 0-2 with a 5.40 ERA in 21 relief appearances.
