MILWAUKEE, (UPI) -- Prince Fielder socked a pair of homers, pitcher Yovani Gallardo added a solo shot and the Milwaukee Brewers downed Houston 7-5 Tuesday.

Fielder and Gallardo both went deep in the third inning, staking Milwaukee to a 3-0 lead. Fielder added a solo blast in the fifth to re-establish the Brewers' three-run advantage at 6-3.

Jonathan Lucroy contributed a bases-empty homer to help the Brewers beat the Astros for the second straight night and assure a series win -- Milwaukee's fifth straight series victory against Houston at Miller Park dating to 2008.

Gallardo (8-3) surrendered four runs on seven hits over six innings.

John Axford collected his eighth save for the Brewers despite allowing a ninth-inning run on two hits and a walk.

Astros starter Brett Myers (5-6) was torched for seven runs in six innings while Lance Berkman went 3-for-5 with a pair of RBI for Houston.
