Heat's Haslem hit with drug charge
MIAMI, Miami Heat forward Udonis Haslem was charged with possessing marijuana after being pulled over for speeding Sunday, court records showed.
The Miami Herald reported Haslem was stopped about 3 a.m. when he was allegedly clocked doing 78 miles per hour in a 60 mph zone. Miami-Dade County court records showed Haslem was charged with possessing more than 20 grams of pot.
Haslem and a passenger were expected to be jailed, the report said.
The seven-year Heat veteran recently signed a five-year contract.
