GREEN BAY, Wis., Aaron Rodgers threw for 195 yards and three touchdowns Thursday, continuing his excellent pre-season in leading the Green Bay Packers past Indianapolis 59-24.
Rodgers completed 21-of-29 throws. In his three appearances he has hit 41-of-53 for 470 yards with six touchdowns and no interceptions.
The Packers (2-1) scored the last 21 points of the first half to take a 28-17 lead at intermission.
Two of those touchdowns came on passes by Rodgers and the other was produced when Korey Hall fell on a fumbled punt in the end zone.
Green Bay poured it on with 21 fourth-quarter points, coming on the second touchdown pass of the game from backup quarterback Matt Flynn, a 1-yard run by Kregg Lumpkin and a 75-yard punt return by Jason Chery.
Jermichael Finley caught six passes for 85 yards and a touchdown to lead the Green Bay receivers.
Peyton Manning completed 15-of-26 for 214 yards and two touchdowns for the defending AFC champion Colts (0-3).
