Colts lose another receiver

INDIANAPOLIS, -- Indianapolis receiver Austin Collie, who has six touchdown catches in six games this season, underwent thumb surgery Thursday.
The team did not announce how long Collie would be out of action, but the NFL Network reported he would miss at least two weeks.
Collie had been well on his way to a 1,000-yard season when he suffered the injury Sunday against Washington. He has 44 catches for 503 yards.
The news came as the Colts were also announcing that tight end Dallas Clark would be out for an indefinite period with the wrist injury he suffered last week.
Collie and Clark have combined to catch 47 percent of the passes thrown by Peyton Manning this year.
Indianapolis is in the midst of its bye week and will play next on Monday, Nov. 1, against Houston. The Texans surprised the Colts 34-24 during the first week of the season.
