SACRAMENTO, -- Kevin Martin scored three of his 24 points down the stretch Sunday, helping the Houston Rockets win their fourth in five games, 102-93 over Sacramento.
Clinging to a 95-93 lead, the Rockets scored the game's final seven points to put the contest away.
Martin's running jumper and subsequent foul shot with 1:54 left gave the Rockets a five-point advantage and after a pair of free throws by Jordan Hill, Kyle Lowrie made a driving layup with 28 seconds left to ice the contest.
Luis Scola contributed 17 points and nine rebounds and the Rockets won despite committing 22 turnovers that led to 29 Sacramento points.
The Kings, who lost their fifth straight, got 19 points from DeMarcus Cousins.
They were held to only 12 points during an anemic fourth quarter in which the Kings made only 5-of-18 shots.
