How To Use Channel Master with SV360P

USE AT YOUR OWN RISK

1) Upload your channel list from STB to USB stick. It will upload in *.bin format. NOTE: You cannot reload this uploaded channel list in *.bin format back to your STB without first converting it to *.cmproj file format.
2) Upload from USB stick to your PC and save this channel list as a backup file in *.bin format.
3) Import the uploaded channel list to C-M using C-M ver. 1.20.01 or later (ver. 1.20.03 is the latest). By default the channel list is imported as a *.cmproj file. Just make sure it is imported as a *cmproj file..
3) Edit, then save your edited list as a *.cmproj file.
4) Export the edited list to your USB stick as a *.cmproj file. NOTE: If it is in *.bin file format, it will not download properly from USB stick to STB.
5) Download the edited channel list in *.cmproj file format from USB stick to STB.

NOTE: Ensure that the channel list being downloaded from USB memory stick to the STB is in *.cmproj file format. If it is in *.bin format or in any other file format, the STB will get "killed" (to quote some other member).

C-M ver 1.20.01, then ver 12.20.02, and now the latest, ver. 1.20.03 all work with SV360P. Your error was exporting the edited channel list in *.bin format. It should be in *.cmproj format. So, after editing, you save your edited channel list in *.cmproj format. BTW, when you first import your channel list from STB to USB stick to C-M, it is in *.bin format. That's why you just can't reload it back to the STB from the USB stick. If you just want to save your chan list and reload it without editing, because you are going to do a sys clean, you have to first save it in C-M as a *.cmproj, then export it back to the USB stick (as a *.cmproj file) then load to your STB.

end c/p
