DishMEXICO Package Makes Debut

DISH Network on Wednesday launched DishMEXICO, a programming package designed specifically for those of Mexican descent.
DishMEXICO offers more than 50 channels and features popular Mexican networks such as Univision, Azteca America, Galavision, Teleformula, Telefutura, Telehit, De Pelicula and De Pelicula Clasico. Latino music channels also are part of the mix.
In addition, the package includes the launch of two new channels: Bandamax, dedicated to Mexican and other Latino music categories; and CBeebies, a Spanish-language channel developed by BBC that delivers educational and entertainment content for preschoolers.
TuTu, a joint venture of Grupo Televisa and Univision, is behind the launch of Bandamax.
