Inmarsat said Perry Melton will become its chief operating officer effective Jan. 1. Melton replaces Michael Butler, who will remain president and a executive director of the company through April 30 --- Kudelski, a provider of media content protection and value-added service technology, said Alex Osadzinski and Yves Pitton have joined its executive board. Osadzinski was named executive vice president, and will assume responsibility for product within digital TV. Pitton was promoted to senior vice president and will assume corporate development responsibilities.
