HBO big winner in Emmy ceremony
LOS A, Calif., Cable network HBO was the big winner in the annual Creative Arts Emmy Awards in Los Angeles, capturing 17 statuettes for achievement in a variety of categories.

HBO's awards ranged from the miniseries "The Pacific" to "The 25th Anniversary Rock and Roll Hall of Fame Concert," The Hollywood Reporter said Sunday.

ABC came in second in total awards with 15 Emmys, including wins for "Modern Family" and "Dancing With the Stars."

Fox grabbed nine, including awards for Neal Patrick Harris for his guest spot on "Glee" and "American Idol" host Ryan Seacrest as producer the reality series "Jamie Oliver's Food Revolution."

CBS took eight Emmys, including wins for "CSI: Crime Scene Investigation" and "Survivor" while NBC captured seven, with three going to "Saturday Night Live," making it the most-nominated show since the Emmys started. Guest host Betty White took one of those awards.

Showtime took five awards including one for "Nurse Jackie;" AMC had two awards with one going to its series "Mad Men;" Comedy Central recevied an award for "The Colbert Report" and the Cartoon Network won an Emmy for "Robot Chicken."
