PONTIAC, Ill., -- Convicted killer Christopher Coleman will be moved to a prison outside of Illinois, prison officials say.

Coleman, the former bodyguard of televangelist Joyce Meyer who was convicted of strangling his wife and two young sons, will soon be moved to a prison outside of Illinois, The St. Louis Dispatch reported Sunday.
The decision to move Coleman from Pontiac, Ill., to a prison in another state came a few weeks ago, said Cara Smith, the chief of staff for the Illinois Department of Corrections. It has yet to be determined where Coleman will be moved.
Illinois participates in a program that allows states to swap inmates for various reasons and now has 23 inmates serving time in other states and is housing 35 inmates from out of state.
