I recently bought a desktop and it has an ATI radeon HD 3100 graphics card in it. I've never heard of this before. Is it similar to the HD 3200?Also how well will this card play Crysis or Call of Duty 4?

It has almost every thing the HD 3200 has.I own Crysis myself and I would be disappointed if it didn't play on High Settings (Very High won't show up unless you have Vista / Direct X 10) I own a video card older than that and I can play on high settings and it looks great. If you don't have Direct X 10 Crysis Warhead ( the $30 parallel story to Crysis) can be played at Enthusist settings without it. And if you do you should buy the game any way it's awesome!

You can probably play COD4 on low settings to medium settings, not sure about Crysis. Usually computer manufacturers have different graphics cards made for them. I have an old Dell computer at home that uses a Radeon 9800XT which does not exist, but is similar to the 9800pro. This is probably the same story with your computer. It might be similar to the 3200, but I doubt it. The only way you will know is by running a diagnostic software which can tell you the specs of your card. I personally use Everest software to tell me the specs of my computer parts, but you have to pay for that. You can probably find freeware online that is similar.

the ATI radeon HD 3100 is an older version of the HD3200. i have the 3200, and it can play call of duty 4 at middleish settings. I don't think it could play crysis, that game is a whole lot more advanced than COD4
