Can someone tell me what is the meaning of 12472 20000 H 5/6 that shows next to the satellite info? I know that 12472 is the frequency but I don't know about the rest. I really want to add 2 specific channels.
I f someone could help me I would appreciate.

OK, 12472 is the transponder freq, 20000 is the symbol rate H is for horizontal and 5/6 is the FEC

On a viewsat ultra.. you can go into installation and down to channel scan.. select the correct TP you want to scan the channel for. and scan it.. if you are on the correct sat setting.. and selected the correct TP for that channel and you have a strong signal on the Q(quality) meter.. it should scan the missing channel in.. you can find out what TP the channel is on. by going to lyngsat.com and selecting packages----America and then the appropriate satellite and provider for that Sat.. and pay attention to where SID is.. that is your Channel #..... good luck.. txsgent
