my LNB is 11250, TP Freq 12224...no signal, but the funny thing is when i fool around with the TP Freq to 12239, I got singal. But I can't save the change! It'll always go back to 12224! why's that?......I wanna find Casper, but the Dodgers are losing so I'm waiting for them to win the next game first..

The reason it will not stay on 12224 is because it's programed into a list. Lets say for example that transponder 12224 hosts 10 channels. If you get no signal on 12224 then you will not be able to view those channels. As you view other channels the transponder will change depending on your channel selection. (Look at the little info bar) it will display the Transponder and the symbol rate as well as teh freq. and the stepping rate. 12224 is programed until you remove it.

On a second note if you do a channel scan and your not recieveing 12224 then in your channel list you will be missing those channels and they will be skipped.

Hope that helps...

thanks for the explaination....therefore it's not the box, it's up on the roof?

Well, ya.. roof / cable / lnb

Another reason it may not get 12224 is because it's aimed at dishnet 119 as well.. Either way your reciever is not the problem.
