Boy crushed by train in Canada
CALGARY, Alberta, (UPI) -- A boy was killed when he was crushed between a train and the loading platform in downtown Calgary, Alberta, police said.
The Canadian Broadcasting Corp. reported the accident happened just after noon at a C-Train platform in front of TD Square.
Witnesses told the CBC they saw an older man running with a boy to catch a train stopped at the platform and the child fell as the train started moving.
The victim's body was covered with an orange tarp and police closed off the area while they investigated.
