Missing couple's SUV found
PRINCE GEORGE, British Columbia, Canadian police announced Friday a sport utility vehicle belonging to a missing couple has been found and that foul play is suspected in their disappearance.

The Royal Canadian Mounted Police did not give the location, describing it as a crime scene, the Canadian Broadcasting Corp. reported.

Lyle McCann, 78, and his wife, Marie McCann, 77, have not been seen since July 3, when they left their home in St. Albert, Alberta, planning to drive to British Columbia. Their recreational vehicle was discovered in flames two days later at a campground near Edson, Alberta.

The McCanns planned to meet their daughter at Abbotsford Airport in British Columbia July 10.

"We consider this foul play," RCMP Assistant Commissioner Peter Hourihan said at a news conference in Edmonton.

Also Friday, police identified Travis Edward Vader, 38, as a person of interest in the case. Hourihan

described him as someone believed to be armed and dangerous, with outstanding warrants, no known address and a history of drug abuse.
