1 of 3 escaped killers captured
KINGMAN, Ariz., One of three convicted murderers who escaped from an Arizona prison has been captured in Colorado, officials said.

Arizona Department of Corrections spokesman Barrett Marson said Daniel Renwick, who was serving 22 years for second-degree murder, was in custody, CNN reported.

Renwick and two other convicted killers broke out of a privately run Kingman, Ariz., prison Friday night.

After the breakout, the three were described as armed and dangerous and possibly headed out of state or to Mexico, CNN said.

The men were discovered missing after the Friday night, apparently after cutting a hole in the prison fence, officials said.

Police said two of the escapees and an accomplice abducted two truck drivers on Interstate 40 outside of Kingman, taking over their 18-wheeler. The truckers and rig were released about five hours later about 135 miles to the east, in Flagstaff, Ariz., CNN said.

The two remaining escaped inmates were Tracy Province, 42, serving a life sentence for robbery and murder; and John McCluskey, 45, serving 15 years for second-degree murder and other charges.

Police said the suspected accomplice was Casslyn Mae Welch, 43, who had been on the visitation list for one of the inmates.
