A 60-year-old Ottawa man died Thursday night after suffering a heart attack and collapsing while playing hockey at the Sandy Hill Arena.
Fellow players and arena staff came to the man's aid until paramedics arrived on the scene at about 10 p.m.
Ottawa advanced care paramedics tried to resuscitate the man, who was lying on the ice when they arrived, but were unsuccessful.
