What can the "AMD Phenom II X4 955 Black Edition Deneb 3.2GH" be compared to in terms on intel processors?

im looking at building a new computer with a AMD Phenom II X6 Processor (3.33ghz ?) and i was wondering if this would cause some games not to run due to the amount of cores used.thanks in advance!
