Two people died and several were seriously injured Sunday in a bus crash in Kingman, Arizona, the Mohave County Sheriff's Office said.

Deputies responded to the the single-vehicle accident around 8:05 a.m, according to the sheriff's office. The commercial tour bus had drifted off the highway and rolled several times.

There were 11 passengers and a driver on the bus, said spokeswoman Officer Trish Carter.

Two passengers died at the scene, the office said in a statement, adding that several others received serious injuries and were taken to area hospitals.

CNN affiliate KTVK reported the bus may have been carrying a group of Chinese tourists, but Carter said she could not confirm that. In its statement, the office said all of the passengers may be tourists from another country.

The bus was headed from Las Vegas, Nevada, to Grand Canyon West.

The driver of the bus sustained minor injuries and is cooperating with the investigation, the sheriff's office said.
