Alleged Hezbollah operative arrested
PHILADELPHIA, (UPI) -- A New Jersey carpet installer and car dealer who allegedly acquired stolen cars and electronics for Hezbollah has been arrested in Paraguay, authorities said.

Federal authorities are seeking to extradite Moussa Ali Hamdan to the United States, The Philadelphia Inquirer reported. He was one of 26 people named in an indictment in November.

Investigators say Hamdan formerly lived in Cinnaminson, N.J. While running a car lot on Route 130 in South Jersey, he allegedly bought what he believed were stolen goods from undercover agents, selling some of them on his own account and giving others to Hezbollah.

Hamdan allegedly inadvertently led a task force to other members of a Hezbollah cell operating in the United States.
